In short: Brilliant well organised run and day out in general
In full: I really enjoyed this, despite the soaring temperature, and will definately be back next year. The venue is superb, well marshalled and ample water. Could do with signing from the main road in as Park has several entrances. DJ was a lovely touch and really encouraging. Well done Donna Louise Trust, this event will grow I am sure.

In short: Fantastic
In full: I did do the 5km but what a fantastic venue! Well done to all the marshalls. Just a little confused with the distance as my GPRS clocked 3.57miles which is well over 5km.
Will come back next year. The DJ was GREAT!

In short: Fantastic location running for an excellent cause.
In full: Will definately be putting ths one in the calendar!! This is one you could bring the family to as there is free admission to Trentham gardens all morning and there is also a large garden centre & wooden chalet type shopping centre!

The run itself is 2 laps around the lake part forest trail & part formal gardens! All made more interesting by a short(ish) sharp hill at the end of each lap. Well organised but there are also wlkers on the circuit & you may have to dodge a few people as you finish the run!!

In short: Location, location, location
In full: You'd have to go some to find a better 10k circuit than this one - and well done Trentham Gardens for giving free admission all morning. Shame for the organisers that the skies opened as the run was finishing.

My dad (78 next month) gave me the shock of the day by turning out unannounced for the 5k, the first run he's done in decades!

In short: great location, poor organisation
In full: I really enjoyed the multi terrain (9.6k - as someone has pointed out) race. The walkers were a problem and need to be addressed next year and yes, i too noticed the 9k marker was missing! I agree with everyone else tho, the poor organisation is made up by the fantastic scenery and the worthwhile charity.

I will definately do again next year as a training race.

In short: great scenery, great course.
In full: This is the second time i have run this race and i have to say that last year was better organised, the start was late and runners were hampered by walkers who lined up at the front of the start grid making for a chaotic start. Last year we were asked to line up in accordance to our ability which made for a smooth start. I hate to whinge about the walkers as everyone was there to raise money, but some of them insisted on walking 6 and 7 abreast making it difficult to pass them on the 2nd lap, again this is down to the organisers to ask walkers to keep to the left. All complaints aside this is a good event for a great cause which can only get more popular as this years numbers have proved. The scenery alone is worth the trip.
