In short: My local circuit - so I'm biased!
In full: My local circuit - the route goes right past my house - and I like it for the mixture of road, farm track and footpath.

One footpath section is a bit tricky and can be slippery when its wet (and it has been most times the race has run) but you wouldn't want to run only on roads in this part of the countryside.

In short: A lovely run - great family atmosphere.
In full: A lovely scenic run, flat to start, with one challenging hill at three miles, then undulating until last mile. Four separate fun runs for the kids, barbecue, beers, homemade cake and sweets stalls - fabulous! Would love to do it again.

In short: Teriffic race and a splendid day out!
In full: This is the third time I've done this race and I've thoroughly enjoyed it every time. You couldn't ask for a friendlier atmosphere and the whole day leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy! The circuit itself takes in some glorious scenery and is a great mix of on and off-road and the organisation of the whole day is spot on. Well done Ramsbury!

In short: Great scenary, some small climbs, mostly rural but some parts within the town. It has poured with rain just before and it still managed to not be too muddy on the off road bits.

In short: Picture postcard scenery and well organised
In full: A lovely race, very pretty course though challenging with the large hill at 3 miles. Not too crowded but a nice amount of runners. Good facilities at the recreation ground, excellent refreshments, loved the home made cakes. One for the running calendar.

In short: Fun family day out
In full: Fun and friendly, with well-organised kids races and entertainment for all. The brass band starts the morning off nicely if you're there early enough and the kids love the bouncy slide, which I have to say could make 3x the money if they wanted to!

The run itself is a scenic loop along some country lanes and footpaths, with a single decent hill at the 5k mark. The downhill final mile was appreciated after that!

All in all a great day out.

In short: 2nd year I've done it & I'll be back next time too!
In full: Very good race/day. One to bring the whole family along.
Only slight down side was the course still being short of the advertised 5m (despite being lengthened this year)...
Recommend trying this one out.

In short: Very friendly, nice route, will be back again next year.
In full: Lovely atmosphere and nice cakes at the end. Couldn't hear what the lady with the loudhailer was saying at the start that seemed to take ages. Nice medal and I think getting a packet of washing powder as the "goody bag" is a first!
