In short: It is possible to do a PB - I did (it was my first half marathon)
In full: Organisational problems were exacerbated by the Windsor half marathon being cancelled due to foot and mouth. A picnic in the car park got over the parking problem for us. With slightly fewere runners and better tragffic control it would be one of the very best.

In short: Great course. Disastrous car park!
In full: Race PB for the year at 93 minutes. PW for leaving car park at 95 minutes! A wonderful course totally ruined by the horrendous car park debacle after the race.

In short: Good race, not much chance of a PB though - unless it's your first half...

In short: That hill!
In full: Nice and flat for eight miles - but then ... Good organisation but it showed that it wasn't by runners for runners. And quite the most horrible looking web site I have ever seen! Also, I do not appreciate the surcharge for on-line entries, which must surely be the most cost-effective way to get them in!

In short: great scenery, well organised and very friendly.
In full: you really cant beat running along the towpath past Temple Lock and Island in the glorious autumn sunshine! The course is pretty flat other than 'the hill!' and I didnt find it too narrow anywhere helped I think this year by starting the fun run after the main half. I found the parking no problem at all to get out with well organised marshalling. As for congestion getting there - well turn the sat nav off, look at a map and come via Marlow!

In short: Great race for a leisurely day out with plenty of time to spare before leaving
In full: Realy enjoyed this again. Beat last years pb by 20 sececonds inspite of injuries this season. Conned my freind into doing this as his first HM so wasn't able to leave until quite late taking 30 mins to leave the carpark. Organisers excelled themselves with giving out the race packs so its a shame that thay are unable to organise more toilets and a secure bag drop.
