In short: great race - start neeeds work though!!!
In full: something needs to be sorted with the start, the lane goes very narrow very early on and on a hill, you get boxed in and can potentially lose minutes- literally. needs some markers for where to line up going off expected finish times!!
but still a great race!

In short: Hilly, but a good sized pudding and great crowd
In full: Wow, how hilly was this race? Three laps went quickly. Passing through the crowd after each lap helped, great support.
Lovely views of the Roaches in the distance. Very friendly race with a good mix of abilities. Parking was a bit of an issue, but it is a village so cant expect a multi story.
the number of runners was perfect for the course.
Family came to watch, and so having somewhere for them to get tea, coffee and cake was very welcome, as it was 0 degrees and snowy!
First time I have run this and will definitely be back next year.
Thanks Cheddleton for organising the most relxaed yet challenging 10k I have ever run.

In short: start was very crowded, country lanes and a swarm of runners, made it very hard to get into stride untill after the first hill. the piper did a great job, and the spectators and marshalls cheered everyone on!

In short: Great run again - and fantastic cakes
In full: I'm not sure I agree with Zola Budd (really?)that the hill gets easier every year. It seems harder to me - but that could be something to do with advancing years! I did knock a minute or two off last year's time, so can't complain though. It really is a great event, with so much support from the local community and in a good cause. If you do no other race in a year, do this one! Thanks toall concerned.

In short: A bit crowded at the start as narrow country lanes at the start but once it had thinned out not to bad, the 3 laps of the same course a bit repetative but on the hole a nice little race.

In short: Brilliant!!!!
In full: Very well organised, 'killer hill' gets easier every year, marshalls very encouraging and supportive. Lovely atmosphere and tea and cakes available at the finish. A race which everyone should do - proceeds to Cancer Research - another good reason to run. Christmas Pud to all finishers, much better than a tee-shirt!
