In short: Very Wet, Very Hilly, but very enjoyable
In full: A few cock ups at the presentation, but otherwise a great half. Like the start time time (18:00) too.

In short: 1st hill warms you up quick, the downhills are gentle enough to make up the time. Good race

In short: Could be a great day out if weather was better and toilets remain open
In full: The only thing that really spoiled it (apart from the weather, that is) was the fact that the toilets were locked up before the end of the race - absolute hell for runners and supporters alike, especially if there is a medical problem involved. Very inconsiderate!

In short: Very friendly ,very beautiful race.
In full: I just wanted to reiterate what most other people are saying. It was a bit of a drive for us to get there but made a day of it, and it was so worth it.So many friendly people , both running and supporting the race. The course was hilly as expected but because of the downhills not as awful as I thought it might be.The organization, momento ,Marshalls (especially the jelly baby marshall- I also got a black one )were all brilliant.I shall definitely be telling all my mad running friends about this one and hopefully there will be an even bigger contingent from Leicestershire next year.A really great race.

In short: Thankyou Bourton Road Runners for a great event
In full: Third time I have done this and the event remains very friendly and well organised, with a decent memento. Am currently deciding whether or not to get contact lenses or wipers on my specs!

In short: Very tough race, as the title would suggest. Hardest half i've ever done - I was over 6 minutes down on a time I ran recently. The conditions were near perfect this year with light rain all the way round. Plentiful water stations....
In full: ..had it been hotter. Best memento I have ever received in a race - a glass paperweight with 2 running people inside. Don't think I will do it again as I really struggle up hills but if you don't mind that I would recommend it.

In short: Fantastic event, well done to all concerned
In full: Can't praise this event too highly. Yes it is hilly, but the worst is over in the first mile, and the scenery more than compensates for the challenges.

Well supported and very well marshalled, many thanks to all those who spurred us on in the rain! Plentiful water and sponge stations were a great precaution against warmer weather.

I complained last year about only receiving a mug, but this year the memento was the best I've ever had, a lovely paperweight in a nice presentation box. It will take pride of place on my desk!

Well done Bourton roadrunners, see you next year.

In short: Great race, fantastic memento
In full: Nearly missed the start as I took a tortured route from Bristol. Wasn't sure whether to run as I was suffering from a head cold. The step ladder start was a good idea. Steep hill right at the start had everyone cursing. The weather was miserable and forced me to attempt to clean my glasses several times. Challenging course and a good atmosphere. The etched glass memento is easily the best souvenir I've had from any race and is pride of place on the mantlepiece.
