In short: Very hot and hilly, but scenery and atmosphere great
In full: This was my first 10k race and, though the hills were challenging, it was a fantastic experience. Very friendly runners and very well organised.

In short: very hot!!!!!!!!!!!
In full: I did this last year and came back for more.
Results before I left typical Grassroots well organised.
Could have done with another drinks station on the course though giving the hot conditions!!!!

In short: Another Grass Routes success story
In full: Hats off again to another very well organised race. Yes it was hot. Last year it was soggy, next year who knows but beyond everyones control. This is not a PB course it was my slowest time for two years, the Garmin indicates a net climb over 7km of 230 feet before the descent at the end, however this does not detract from the quality of the race, the friendliness of the volunteers, the the magnificent cakes. well done to all involved.

In short: Great course - but could you find a cheaper nastier medal, ribbon print lifted within minutes, big dissapointment for medal collectors

In full: Could have had a second drinks station for us desperate souls near the back, but the cake was worth it all!

In short: Fantastic race, but not for PB chasers!
In full: I had my slowest 10k time for a while here (a very hot day and very big hills!) BUT this didn't bother me at all. It was a beautiful course in the Wiltshire countryside and incredibly well run by the locals. Well supported race with a large enough field for a bit of competition but small enough not to ever be congested. Results were up in the hall quicker than I've ever known and the prize ceremony was nice and punctual. Great to be able to park close to race HQ. I'll be back next year! Only VERY SLIGHT quarm was the water wasn't handed out at the water stations and, as the station was at the bottom of the hill and I was therefore running quite fast, I almost knocked all the water over as I tried to grab one off the table.
