In short: The hill at 9k is big, very big.
In full: The hill at the end is harsh but in fairness will probably be the reason people will come back, also would not wear trainers if it’s wet.

In short: Very tough. I did not expect this to be so off road and muddy, still it was good fun splashing through the puddles. The hill at the end puts to bed any thoughts of a fast finish - it is a mountain! Well organised and very nice atmosphere.

In short: A well organised, scenic, off-road new season race.
In full: 1st timer at this event - it was extremely well marshall'd and parking/toilets etc were excellent.. the hill at 9k is actually a Mountain... be warned, not for the faint hearted.. a good beginning season off road race. Definately worth doing.

In short: Brilliantly organised, great volunteers, lovely scenery .
In full: My first half marathon, was so enjoyable. Even though it was hilly I still managed a good time for my first half-2:06:11. The lovely scenery and enthusiastic volunteers really were a motivation for getting round. The water stations were well managed and so was the baggage store. Everything was well run and I am still hyped from it. Will definately do again next year.

In short: Nice course and Luton don't usually go together but they do in this case
In full: Excellent race. The Rotary Club had this very well organised with good marshalling signage and water stations. What a change to do an off road half marathon around some nice scenery on a testing little course. Why is there less than 100 people doing this???? Who knows but next year ditch a road half and do this one the organisers deserve better than this! Oh and don't worry about 'The Hill'.....it's tough but is only about 100 metres, if that even though you do it twice.
