In short: A race where you have to keep your wits about you.
In full: I enjoyed this race whilst visiting Cornwall this year and will be entering again in 2012. Very hilly and very steep, so hard running up hill and fast running down and some real good flats too. It is a tough race but I can't wait to try and beat my Tywardreath Trotter 7 PB next year. The local support was excellent and the race was marshalled to perfection. Many thanks!

In short: Big hills = big sense of achievement when you cross the finish line! Great mix of terrain and very friendly atmosphere. Love it!
In full: Would recommend this race to anyone who likes a challenge - beginner or veteran racer. It's tough, but everyone's so friendly you soon forget your jelly legs when you get back to the bbq in the pub garden! Yes, that's right, this race starts and finishes outside the village pub - awesome!

In short: One of my all time favourites.
In full: Came back for the 5th year in a row. This is one I love and will continue to return to.

Some tough hills, dodgy off road downhills, with a very small amount of flat bits thrown in as well.

Starts and finishes outside a pub - perfect!

Perfect weather this year, slight drizzle to keep you cool but not too wet.

In short: I've now done this race 4 times out of 4 and will keep coming back as I love it. A mix of tough uphills and challeging offroad downs with some mud thrown in on the flats make it a brilliant race.

In short: Excellent race with a mix of terrain (hills!) and slick organisation.
In full: The village fete atmosphere makes this a great evening event to bring the family along to. They get to do the 1 mile fun run, still with a challenging hill, then retire to the beer garden to wait for the 'trotters' to return. Excellent start/finish crowds. I'll definately be back!
