In short: Cracking race, fast enough at the front friendly enough at the back.

In short: An absolutely super local race.
In full: Glorious countryside, quiet country lanes with good organisation and friendly marshalling. There may be some more than playful hills but just the thought of all those cakes at the end gets you up them. Can't understand why more people don't enter this one.

In short: Hard hilly race full of rural charm
In full: Other reviews have said it's worth turning up for the cake at the end of the race. They weren't wrong! A good combination of long gradual hills and short sharp inclines were a test for all runners. PB potential is irrelevant here due to it's unique distance

In short: Hilly but fun!
In full: Well I have to love a race I get a pb at and as it was my first time here and I have never raced 5.6miles before I guess it had to happen and many others probably had the same! Not many flat bits and to quote another comment on here you either seemed to be running uphill or downhill but I really enjoyed it. Two water stations as well was really good and I loved the towel at the end. Really well organised and marshalled and deserves more runners as its a really good event. Will be back next year to see if I can beat my pb!!

In short: Great race - lovely(!) hills & delicious cakes. Pity the weather was foul, so the views couldn't be appreciated.
In full: Congratulations to the organisers - a really well-run, friendly event; I'll certainly be back next year & will recommend this one to clubmates.
