In short: Great run in Manx land!
In full: Only a few hills in this one with a everything from about 8 miles downhill or flat - so a PB is possible. Just be aware of the camber of the road from about 9-12 miles and run bang in the middle of the road if you can!

In short: Great friendly race in lovely setting
In full: Had an awesome time on the Isle and the race was great, friendly, supportive and well organised. Pity no official photographer for the full marathon, would have been nice. A relatively small field of runners but I enjoyed the isolation on the back roads. Also a 2-lap race so need good psychological strength but i managed a PB, relatively easy course bar half a mile of ascent.

In short: A rather lonely marathon with a killer hill to visit twice as two laps.
In full: Service stations well manned and very friendly. The MANX people were very nice and the road Drivers accommodating to us runners.

I read this was a top ten UK marathon but to be honest it is an enjoyable but low key local marathon. It has the potential to attract more but would need to be handed over to an event manager to publicize and tech it up a bit. Good job by locals nevertheless.

In short: another great weekend in Isle of Man
In full: another great event held by IOMVAC.
a scenic but in places tough race but the
facilities and rewards for the runners are
top class-particularly for such a modest
entry fee. my 6th visit here for this
marathon and for sure will be here next year.
cannot praise this event enough and I hope it
continues to get support from all runners.
a super buffet too, this is one of my annual
favourites-well done everyone.

In short: well run and worth the trip
In full: everything went to plan ,and the sun came out as well, this a good race even though I am not keen on two lap races,( I HATE GOING PAST THE FINISH LINE HALF WAY ROUND ) but I was aware of this when I entered . I could recommend as a good local race which did have a personal feel to it

In full: Great 2 lap race on a mildly challenging course including a steady climb. Atmosphere is very friendly, and great hospitality afterwards with a superb buffet. Bit of a wait for the bus back to Douglas but this was more to do with the bus company. Worth staying over on the Monday and venture out to Peel to watch the Monday evening Peel Hill race. Top Event
