In full: Good race, nice quick course, decent field just a shame about the weather! At the person who wanted photo's I think it was Mick Hall photography at the race today.

In short: Cracking race
In full: Very well organised race in Wythenshawe park, starting and ending at the Sale Harriers track. A very strong club field means that beginners might be a bit intimidated but the atmosphere and friendliness more than make up for it.

Only negative was that the promised technical shirt ended up being a regular cotton one.

I saw the signs with the photographers URL, but can't remember it - did anybody else see it?

In short: Nail-On PB Course
In full: Flat as a pancake, it's PB-tastic mate!
Pretty scenic mini-laps/double-backs within Wythenshawe Park, with 700m track to start + 500m to finish.
Very good for spectators, with people whizzing by in all directions! Great children's playground plus other park attractions.
Easy parking, easy registration, fast production of results (inc. putting online).
Only v.minor quibble would be that I'd've preferred cheaper entry and no free T-shirt.
Overall Highly Recommended! :o)

In short: OK, but nowt special
In full: Bit elitist for my taste and the fact that the leaders lapped those to the rear was a litle poor. Lack of any water other than at the end, in that heat, was also dissapointing.

In short: Quick, friendly and well organised
In full: Did the more overcast 5k last bank holiday Monday - this was much sunnier and therefore had a fair few more runners. Another good t-shirt and again the speedier ones were very encouraging to slow coaches like me. A bit confusing at the point where the slower runners have to do a second lap but the faster ones have already done it - I saw a couple of people miss out the second lap in the confusion. A bit more shouting from the marshall at that point would fix that.
