In short: Great way to finish the bank holiday
In full: Like this race as its very close to home and at a great time, 7pm. Its one of my training runs so does seem odd to pay £12 to run it but I don't begrudge it as it helps the local club. Tough first half, slow uphill for a couple of miles then a 'respectable' hill before mostly being downhill. Good fun and slightly amateur atmosphere adds to the relaxed feeling. WIll continue to do it as long as I can.

In short: Very good circuit,
In full: A good route and challenging, but the lack of any sort of welcome from officials and the mêlée at registration spoils what could be a super event.

In short: Tough little critter
In full: Great race, well organised and marshalled. There's a decent climb about half way, but the plus side is there's some downhill sections for you to try(!) to make up time on!

In short: beautiful scenery, run at a good time of day, v challenging hill
In full: excellent race, well organised in beautiful scenery. Time of race at 7pm makes it possible to do things with the family before running. Great food/drinks etc afterwards - only downside was the water in the showers was so hot you couldn't stand underneath it!

In short: Small, friendly, challenging. Perfect end to a weekend with the great weather.
In full: My local circuit so nice to run round in company.
Hill at 2 miles always a killer, but relief when climbed. Good organisation, definately in my diary for next year.

In short: Can't say I love it for the 3 miles uphill to start, but it has the charm of a small race on a glorious evening with great support and a really quick last half mile....
