In short: The best 5k I've completed and made me want to complete the 10k just so it would last longer. A real sense of achievement.

In short: Brilliant fun
In full: A very funny warm up followed by a surprisingly challenging course. I'm not the worlds greatest runner but there was definitely a lot of "up"! Cammo nets, bogs and lots of mud made for a great run. My Garmin made it slightly less than 10k - 9.25

The mud was great and sliding down a hill on your belly was great fun. Will definitely be doing this again.

Has a 5k route for the novice which looked equal fun.

In short: A fun 10k, with lots of mud
In full: Nice run, very well organised, bit dissappointed with the post event facilities. Long trek from the car park, but hey! Loads of mud and water, hills etc. Not over subscribed, two waves with a friendly banter from the military guys.

In short: Good fun, with a nice mix of terrain
In full: After one of the most enthusiastic pre-race warm-ups I've ever seen, the course snaked around fields, woods and hills in a scenic part of south Wales. The smoke grenades, cammo nets and water slides were a nice touch and certainly added variety. Nice T-shirt at the end (army green makes a change from the more common white).

Only real gripe was that the route wasn't always very obvious, and we had to stop a few times to work out where to go.

In short: A tough little challenge with a few obstacles
In full: A tough undulating start to a coarse packed with obstacles. An enjoyable atmosphere throughout the event. Well worth a go. Shame about the extortionate prices for the photos... £7.95 each... for a download! WOW!
