In short: Well Organised and Good Course
In full: Well Done Wetherby Runners! Despite it being my first run since illness, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Time was a bit squewiff as a result but real PB potential! Will be back in 2008, injury and cold free and who knows, maybe a PB!?!

In short: Great course, fast and flat. I did my best time in the last 2 years and I'm know others did too. Great organisation..
In full: The Wetherby 10K was a very enjoyable race to take part in and seemed to have something for everyone.

My kids did the fun run and were pleased to see the Ice Cream Van afterwards whilst family and friends took advantage of the delicious tea and home made cakes in the sit down seating area.

The marshalls were very friendly in shouting encouragement and the course proved fast and flat.

The Pipe Band playing half way around were a welcome boost as were the Masseurs at the end. Fantastic goodies at the end of the race with a sports kit bag (which will certainly get some use) and a tee-shirt too, which is great value for the entry fee.

Post race coverage was also well organised with Full Colour photos in the local "Wetherby News" newspaper plus an audio podcast to download with live commentary from the Race on the local Wetherby Radio Station, Tempo FM.

This race will be hard to beat. Well done Wetherby Runners and Wetherby Lions. I for one will definitely be back next year.

In short: PB potential on pretty flat course earlier start would be better
In full: Great location for parking and ease of access with it being set at the racecourse. The course was quick and flat but more trail than road.
Well marshalled and organised with a great gym bag at the end
The 2pm start was different but with the warm day (as it was) it made the course tougher than it would have been. Plus the 2pm start meant you needed much more time to get to the venue as the Sunday drivers were out of bed by then
