In short: You wood.........
In full: Second time at this one and for a 5k it does seem quite challenging but real mix of entrants and very friendly / well organised. Plus a free tree at the end.

In short: Good for beginners, but watch out for the hills!
In full: Not used to undulating courses so found that difficult, but there were enough people bringing up the rear that I wasn't overawed. A free tree sapling and medal for everyone who finished was a lovely touch.

In short: Good day out
In full: Did enjoy doing this run, good organization and loved the group warm up with carabbean music which probably lasted a good 15 minutes!
T-shirt was ok, goody bag was average: got a freesbee, a £1 off toilet paper, waterbottle and jelly beans. They also had fruit at the end which was fab and you could help yourself to a tree sapling.
Might do again next year

In short: Good steady race
In full: First non 'fun run' race which I was slightly worried about, but turned out fine. The pace was a bit quicker than I'm used too but I still managed to get round ok. Resonable goody back, medal & tree sapling at the end. Nice awards ceremony afterwards and a few stalls & bands to keep you amused but best of all there was a free massage after the race! How lovely!

In short: Great Cross Country Run
In full: ....and for all the right reasons with the emphasis being on trees and helping the local environment. Loads of freebies and a pleasure to race in my local park where I put in so many training miles up those killer hills. Really enjoyed it - thanks to all those involved.
