In short: What hills?
In full: C'mon guys, there are a few short climbs in this race, but nothing you could call a hill. I think you notice them more because they come towards the end, and are a bit of a wake up call.

In short: Great 10k - the hills are good for you!
In full: Run this 10k every year, and it was even better this year with the free t-shirt. Few hills, including one leg burner at the end, but a great 10k in a lovely part of the country.

In short: Hilly!
In full: My home town race and ran it for the first time. Very hilly but I knew that already. Running t-shirt with registration and a medal. All round good course but challenging. I'll be back next year

In short: Good race, nice day, uplifting atmosphere to keep you going up the hills!
In full: Lovely race, nice scenery, well organised. People cheered us on which was positively uplifting, especially up Hungershall hill- A killer on the 8km marker. However slowly but surely i kept up the jogging pace and finished in 1 hour 2 mins, with a sprint at the end. My first ten k race. Good challenge, will be back next year!

In short: ow ow ow
In full: Oh those hills. Particularly the last 2 k. ow ow ow. I had a really bad race - set off much too quickly and totally ran out of juice for the hills at the end, so ended up doing far too much walking. Even downhill was a killer on the quads.
However, the race was well organised, really friendly marshals, a cheerful atmosphere, and yes I would do it again, just to prove to myself that I can do a batter race than I did. Off to soak in a hot bath now....ow...ow
