In short: Fab little 10k
In full: Fell upon this race, and I am very pleased I did! Hill at 4k, but generally this race isn't too hard.

In short: Very good race for such a small village
In full: Very enjoyable race. One steepish hill and a climb to the finish but otherwise fine. Good surfaces underfoot. Would be great if they could achieve their limit of 100 runners. A few
adverts placed around Salisbury would probably help.

In short: Well organised and friendly race
In full: Just completed the 2010 race. Well organsied and friendly event, lots of parking. 58 people in the field so not massive. 95% of race on the road running through narrow lanes, last 1km or so you join a busier road so a few cars coming towards you at speed. Hills not too bad but there is a small steep incline at the 4km mark which was earlier than expected, however, finnish line is on a hill, so the last 300 mtrs is upwards. Few raises on the way round too. Nice medal at the finnish line with a bottle of water as well. The only minor complain I would have is that the two water stations en route, the first was at 3km which was too early. Should be 5 and 8km's, but not a massive issue.

In short: Fairly steady route with a few gentle hills
In full: I enjoyed today. A very pretty route starting and finishing in a beautiful village so lots to see and take your mind off the running! A fairly steady route, the hills were nice and gentle and has good PB potential. The only suggestion would be to have a water stop by the finish line just for the instant rehydration hit at the end.

In short: Road race with some hillwork
In full: This friendly low key race attracted both club runners and beginners. Set amongst village roads with little/no traffic it offered well placed km and route markers. Leave a little in the tank for the last 500metres.

In short: Friendly and pleasant village race.
In full: Smallish field of about 90, most entered on the day. Attracts a fair few club runners as well as beginners. Challenging hill at 4k and a short sharp one up to the finish. Beautiful countryside, quiet roads and a friendly feel all round. Many thanks.

In short: Another low key, great and enjoyable 10k
In full: Beautiful countryside, friendly people, nice route....huge hill at 4k and uphill to the finish....coffee was great afterwards...I must re iterate...this part of Wiltshire is absolutely gorgeous. Onefor the organisers for next year: Better signage is required for the location of the race..overall - lots of fun!!

In short: I'd forgotten that hill at 4k...
In full: Nice local race and well organised. Nasty hill at 4k though and you've got to dig slightly deep to find the energy to sprint uphill to the finish.
