In short: Very well organised and friendly.
In full: This was my first club race, having only done charity fun runs and the like, a bit wary when I saw all the fit types arriving. Found it very well organised and everyone I spoke to was super-friendly and welcoming. Great signing and happy marshals, and my first ever race t-shirt! Only minor gripe was some spectators a bit inconsiderate to us stragglers still coming in and walking/driving across route around the finish, but all in all if this is what club races are like I will be doing more. Well done Bolton Harriers.

In short: I went 3 minutes faster than expected and could probably go quicker, good PB potential.
In full: Really enjoyed this race, my mates were doing FLM and I opted for this instead of the TV and very glad I did too. My quickest 10K for some while due to a good course with a mix of ups and downs (the 'up' is not to get hung up about though). Really enjoyed the event, well done to Bolton United for arranging it.

In short: Would have been useful to know that the main road into Bolton was going to be closed that day but once the race began, it was well marshalled and signposted.
