In short: have you seen peterborough!
In full: in all fairness its a course designed for speed not scenery, it was well organised. its definately PB material if you dare start near the front - if not you will be passing all the charity runners.

In short: Excellent organization and support
In full: Really good organization, helpful marshalls, plenty of loos and water, got lucky with the weather and local supporters were out in force. Unfortunately I got the most awful cramp at mile 8 and staggered home, but that was no-one's fault. Banana at the end was welcome. Only down was the goody bag - technical tshirt nice but nothing much else save an energy gel.

In short: Fantastic race!
In full: Absolutely loved it. Unlike in other races, you can believe the "fast and flat" description here. Great organisation, brilliant support and marshalling on the course, but most importantly a definite pb race.

In short: Excellent race
In full: This is my first half marathon, as I have only been running properly for the last 6 months. I live in Peterborough, but have never even spectated before. I was mostly impressed with the overall public support on the whole route - it really kept me going & seeing a few friendly faces that I knew! I managed to knock 6 minutes off my target time, so I am really chuffed & can't wait to race again!

In short: Anyone organizing a race should use this as their model
In full: I have done this race a few times and it is always very good - this year excellent. The locals cheering us on is what makes the difference, particularly in the last mile. Will be here again next year

In short: Great race, great value. Book your 2012 place in December
In full: It was our second GER and we will be back next year. 2012 promises a new course and it will be part of the UKA Grand Prix Series.

Just over 4000 entries this year, help to make it bigger and better in 2012 come along and bring your running friends.

This is our local half and it had everything to offer - Good quality technical T-Shirts (Great North eat your heart out!!) good support from the locals, the mexican waves were great, the high fivig kids and even the residents from one of the old peoples homes out cheering on.

Our thanks go to all the organisers, volunteers, St Johns ambulance and marshals.

Many thanks Peterborough City Council, keep up the great work

In short: Brilliant
In full: Really impressed, really enjoyed. You can see a lot of work has gone into organising this, and it really pays off. From the start, through the closing of the roads and on to the finish line I was extremely impressed.
Also very surprised how flat and fast this course is. Ideal for PB's.
Very glad I took part.
