In short: Average race. Nice location but needs better organization. In full: Open course with long straights along sea front and prom, fast potential. Average sort of race spoilt for me by them running out of t-shirts at the finish line (which was a bit chaotic). I'm XL but had to take a L, my partner is S and had to take a M. No point really as neither fits us. Bit annoying when a T-shirt is included in the entry fee. Posted in the race FB page and no response or apology offered. Also, not one person I know measured it as a full 10k (all were around 9.8k) and was supposed to be officially measured! Date of review: September 30, 2015

In short: nice flat course, a bit congested at the start , but not for long, great goody bag. In full: Friendly good marshalling, good to see the faster runners running the opposite way, just sorry we might have got in the way when they lapped us, Overall a very enjoyable run. In short: hugo boss aftershave In full: only one bad point - the start was a bit congested. I've done the sefton corporate cup in the same park and don't remember it being that bad.
Good points - marshalls and organisation, towel instead of a t-shirt, hugo boss aftershave in the goody bag, doing a PB, lapping the mexicans and seeing how fast the real runners go when I was not just lapped but eclipsed by them on my lap 2. The biggest highlight of the day was my mate getting foundation in his bag not aftershave. Date of review: October 26, 2006
In short: Well organised relly enjoyed the race In full: Well attended, good marshalling. Being a beginner went to the back of the queue so there was no problem getting to the starting line as everybody had already gone through. Date of review: October 25, 2006
