In short: Timing Chip - boo!
In full: I've already left my ratings but I've had problems with the timing chip - I didn't want to wear it on my ankle and checked with registration who said I could wear it anywhere. Apparently you can't and as a result I haven't got a timed result which I'm very disappointed with :-( Wish I had known that, staff poorly informed.

In short: Highly enjoyable first 10k and great setting. Quite something to see 2000 people in the same T-shirt run through the countryside!

In short: Herts 10k - challanging but fun
In full: Quite a hill at 3 to 4 k and then the hill right at the end is a killer, but a nice course nevertheless and will be doing again next year.

In short: Nice route, well organised. Good fun!
In full: A well organised race and a very nice course. Susceptible to bunching near the start, but otherwise not bad.

In short: A beautiful run and I got a PB!!
In full: I thought the organisers couldn't improve on last years event, but they certainly did. The start was unfortunately a few minutes late, when I asked the organisers they told me it was due to the postal strike effecting delivery of race packs. People had to collect them on the day, fair enough. What a start though, non other than Mr Frank Bruno himself, made my day. That and the fact that I got a PB aswell. My friend came in later than I and didn't get her water, but I think this was due to the fact that I saw runners taking the water BEFORE race start.
Can't wait to do it again next year, well done to all involved.
