In short: Love this run & willl be back
In full: ... but I preferred the course last year which trailed through deeper forestry and smaller paths. Still a great race even if I was slower this year.

In short: The distant gun fire made me run faster!
In full: A nice cosy, well organised event (I hear 2:09 has a good rep, I'd now agree) of about 120 runners, with rewarding views. Hilly/undulating, challenging, but lots of fun! I can imagine the course with a bit more rainfall could become quite muddy, (in certain sections) so bear that in mind for next time if you're wearing out your brand new flashy runners out!
This was my first trail run, and I'll be back for more. Bored with 10K towny stuff with 1000+ runners... trail is the way forward.

In short: Beautiful
In full: Very well organised, lovely scenery and a bit hilly. Positively cruel putting the steppest hill in the last 200m ! Really great morning out - definitely one for the annual calendar. Well done organisers and marshalls - thanks.

In short: Pleasant and well-organised 10k trail race - and a welcome break from the crowdss
In full: Nice 10k trail run - continually undulating with a couple of short, steep climbs.

Pleasant atmosphere, good scenery & supportive crowd and marshals - all in all an excellent morning out.

If you want a break from the chaos and commotion of 1000+ entrant races, this is a great one to try.
