In short: Great for those who like hilly off-road routes.
In full: It certainly has a mud-run potential if it rains. Great fo trying some sandy trails and fabulous donwhill mad dashes.

In short: What hurts more - hills or nettles ?
In full: Splendid race. Really is "multi terrain". Some very taxing hills especially one made of sand. You need to leave any pb hopes at home and race against the other competitors instead. Could do with someone trimming the nettles as some of the pathways were very tight and nettles hurt even when racing.

A summer Saturday evening is a great time for a race too.

In short: First time at the stumble, wont be my last
In full: did the stumble as part of my trainging for HM in October. Challenging off road course, with some killer hills, a particular sand one and mud one spring to mind, but fun nonetheless. well marshalled and oragnised, although having to have a t shirt that was 2 sizes too big for me as my size was reserved for all the ladies was disappointing at the end. but will be back to do this again and also try the stagger...

In short: Superb race
In full: This is the third year I have ran the Stumble, and it gets better (and tougher) each year. This is a well marshalled and organised race and the the kids loved the fun run, I'm not so sure my wife enjoyed trying to keep up with them though.

In short: Some challenging inclines, very welcoming race and great marshals.
In full: A welcoming race starting in a lovely park and taking in some very varied and challenging terrain. Everyone was encouraging and the atmosphere at the finish line was great. I'd definitely do this course again.

In short: Challenging race in lovely surroundings.
In full: Definitely a multi-terrainrace. In fact its hard to think of a surface thats not covered. Billed as 10K ish but it is a challneging course with plenty of short hills so not PB material. Still, a great way to spend a summer's saturday evening and justify a few pints afters!

In short: Never has the term "multi-terrain" been more apt.
In full: Well organised, well marshalled race. Covered every terrain going: tarmac, grass, dirt, MUD, sand. A few unavoidable nettles in places but unless your at the front they'll have run out of sting long before you get there. A very hilly race, probably less than a mile of level ground on the whole course so not a likely PB race. If it has rained in the last 48 hours I would definitely recommend trail shoes! Mile/km markers would definitely improve the course. In short, a challenging, well organised, enjoyable race.

In short: A great race, but I'm always glad to see the finish line!
In full: Full marks to Stourbridge RC yet again for an excellent race! This is a tough course which thoroughly deserves the title 'multi-terrain', as I think every type of surface was covered. The hills are steep (the sandy bank felt like it would never end) and the woodland is dense, but a great way to spend a Saturday evening!

In short: There's worse things to do on a summer's evening
In full: Having undertaken and thoroughly enjoyed the 'big brother' event (the 10 mile stagger), I looked forward to the Stumble immensely. It's tough - some 'lovely' hills, and the quagmire which caught me out in February did exactly the same again come June, but a great race. Top marks to Stourbridge RC for a top-notch memento once again.
