In short: Pretty course & well organised.
In full: On a bad weather day it could be scary! Lovely scenic half by the coast. Friendly & considerately organised. Had a great day & will hope to take part again.

In short: A fast race in a lovely setting
In full: A nice race, lovely marshals and loops on roads are traffic free which is nice. However I was disappointed in the goody bag this year and as one of the last runners home (first half marathon) I felt rather like I was an annoyance and the organisers just didn't care anymore, which left me more than disheartened.

In short: Flat but windy out & back
In full: Good race along seafront. PB potential but prone to strong prevailing SW headwinds on way out. Goody bag disappointing: I had hoped for more sustenance after a half marathon.

In short: Not a bad race, killer hill at the end though
In full: Good little race down the sea front, pretty windy on the way out which made it harder. The hill right near the end was horrible and a real leg killer.

In short: Out and back seafront run with a steep climb finish - watchout for the wind!
In full: My first half for years and I wasn't disappointed. Well-organised with great marshalls - thank you for giving up your Sunday morning for us all. The wind was against us for miles 3-7 which made it a real slog. Must be me but when we turned it seemed to drop!! The hill at 12 miles plays mind-games with you and everyone near me walked it but at least you get to charge down it.

In short: Totally naff race
In full: ok race ok so first time doing this race , race most Sundays halls and full's.
no chip timing , which was not a good start . Poor quality race number totally ripped and fell to bits . The course was open to the public , so dogs , kids , buggies , wheel chairs , bikes , scootes and oaps getting in the way throughout. No finish clock , totally naff cheap poor quality medal , and poor goodie bag. Would not recommend or do again, unless the organiser pull there socks up. Very amature race.

In full: Did really like this race. A very calm morning by the seaside, enough people to get you excited but not too many to slow down everything. Still a fabulous atmosphere and lovely to run along te sea front. The marshalls were friendly and the finish attracted enough well-wishing family, friends and spectators to make it fabulous end to a glorious sunny morning. So much better than Run To The Beat which I did twice before.

In short: My first half-marathon. Mostly flat except for a killer hill at the end.
In full: This was my first half-marathon. I only took up running about 4 months ago and decided to set myself a target. The weather on the day was extremely hot and no wind. It was really tough going, would have liked more water stations because of the weather, but would definitely do it again.
