In short: Good terrain - very little road, sufficient hills but not terrible, and loads of mud- multi-terrain shoes are a must.
In full: The race atmosphere was OK however it's a pity that some of our supporters received complaints for purchasing cakes - even when some of them were for runners. It's important that families and supporters are made to feel welcome at such events, as their support is much appreciated.

In short: Would do it again as nearly all off road. Lots of mud so will wear studs rather than trail shoes next time. Enjoyed the tea and cakes afterwards.
