They even served cream tea at 500m. Seriously though, it was super.

In short: This is what running should be about, its not just a solitary thing you pay £27 to ponse around Cardiff Bay and feel you're at an "event"
In full: I think the consensus is we'd like more relays, I know its diffcult because the variation (2, 3, 4, relay) is what makes this series unique so on balance leave well alone. I'd suggest an April relay if the light permitted.

In short: Fabulous!
In full: A well organised relay event. The course was flat, so PB potential although had a couple of 'wobbly' parts of the mile course. On the return running on grass gave a different uneaven surface - could cause problems? Near the end of the mile some sharp turns, not really a problem.

This was the first year for this event, so all in all it worked really well:) Perhaps for next year if more use is made of the forum for organisng teams, maybe more runners will be able to make it?

For me, first time running just the mile - so a PB I am well chuffed with:) The team finsihed in great form and everyone enjoyed the event:))

Well done:))

In short: Wonderfully Buddhist name for a great race
In full: A beautiful run on a beautiful Friday evening. The course was very fast (although I missed my PB by 20s, I think this was down to lack of training). It seemed like quite a small field but it was very friendly. Well organised. There seemed to be quite a high proportion of club runners, but quite a few new runners had been brought/coersed into running by "friends". At £3.50 this race was excellent value for money.

In short: Potentially a very good run for first timers - but there weren't many there
In full: Nice short run for first timers looking for a first race and located nicely in the parks in the middle of Cardiff. However, the entry seemed very strong with very few beginners. There were plenty of joggers out running round the park that might have been interested if they had known about it. Possibly could be advertised better to draw in those beginners who run in the parks anyway.
