In short: Well done again Bearbrook !
In full: Excellebt marshalling and great goodies at end (messenger bag and socks). One of the best road races around. Great 2K downhill run in at the end.

In short: Well-marshalled friendly race
In full: Run on roads not closed to traffic, but plenty of marshals directing cars (and shouting encouragement) meant this was never an issue.

First half of the course is up an incline that's nearly imperceptible, then turns a corner a couple of steeper climbs. If you survive those, it's all downhill for the last third. I'd estimate the hills cost just under a minute compared to a pancake-flat course.

In short: Brilliant race. Last 3k is all gently downhill. Friendly small 10k. Perfect use of a Sunday morning.

In short: Quick course with PB potential, well organised. Shame no medal.
In full: Good atmosphere, well organised. My wife ran this as her first 10k and did herself proud. A good course with a few inclines to challenge you between 6k and 7k with a nice downhill towards the end.

In short: The marshals made the race!
In full: This was a very well organised run, marshals were cheerful and encouraging. A couple of uphill bits but mainly flat, good pb potential!

In short: Fast course, but terrible start
In full: Nice race, really well marshalled, good cakes at the end. Start was insane though, with the bottle neck out on to the road. seriously reduces pb potential. Didn't hear the marshalls calling to the start, so start itself was also a bit of a shock. Could also do with a water station that isn't at the top of a hill.

In short: Excellent Race
In full: I love this race, I've done it the last 4 years and will be back next year. The marshalling is always excellent, the atmosphere is great and the race is super for a PB. But there were a couple of niggles this year I wanted to bring to the attention of the organisers.... moving the start of the road is a good idea, but it was almost dangerous the way it then bottle necked out onto the road. No clock - what happened there? and I couldn't hear the man on the loud speaker - that might need rethinking too.
