In short: A fantastic race through beautiful countryside.
In full: This was my first Half Marathon which was made very enjoyable thanks to the excellent organisation and marshalling. I can't think of anything that could be improved. The course is not as tough as the comments in RW made me think.

In short: Beautiful
In full: I loved this race. Although it was quite warm, the sun stayed behind the clouds most of the time and I was delighted that the last few miles were mostly through tree lined, shady lanes. Very thoughtful. The hills weren't much to worry about and the scenery was beautiful. Thank you to everyone who organised, marshalled and ran it. Worth the almost three hour drive home.

In short: My first half - not an obvious PB course, but lovely scenery, well organised and safe, challenging but not heartbreaking.

In short: Another great race by PVRC
In full: Pretty much the same as last year, except no PB this time. Probably my own fault for pacing it badly. Long, steep hill in the fourth mile but nothing too challenging besides that. Well organised and well marshalled, thanks to all concerned. Only slight criticism is that an energy drink station or two would have been good. Nice t-shirt this time as well.

Will definitely be back next year.
