In short: Smooth
In full: The course was clear and well marked. The presentation was swift, no hanging about - really friendly atmosphere. All in all a bit of a winner.

In short: Fast and Friendly
In full: Perfect running conditions, weather and track. Well organized and friendly race with a Santa medal and Christmas pud. Thanks to all the marshals, organizers and the 1000s of miners who put all the stuff there for us to run on! Definitely one for my diary next year. Merry Christmas all.

In short: Well organised fun feel good race
In full: Second time round for me. Perfect weather conditions this time (1 degree last year!). Majority of runners got into the spirit of the season with santa suits, hats, elves suits etc. Great to see.

Flattish course, one rise at the beginning which means a nice downhill run to finish line! 1 water water station.

Great medal. Nice warm mulled wine, mince pies and pudding greeting to you at the end.

Another job well done to the organisers, Nice Work. Merry Christmas!

In full: Just got in from the Kent christmas cracker. Great little race. Nice well maintained tarmac track. Nice location.

FAB medal! really nice, you cam see a lot of thought went in to it!

Great beginners race, or PB race for the more advanced runner.

Shame there was no chip timing though, next year maybe?

In short: Excellent organisation
In full: I have read the comments regarding this race and if it was a first race the course could have felt a bit daunting and slightly boring. However if was still a great Sunday run and good experience if it was a first race. If you can finish a course that is like this you will certainly finish other races with more scenary and spectators. Well done to Martin and his team, most welcoming.

In short: My first race, felt uninspired, I felt the course was dull. Not a big number of runners due tochange of date due to weather.
In full: Mentally, I struggled with the course because I felt it was dull and uninspiring. I can usually run 5 miles at a quicker pace on my training and arrive home satisfied that I had achieved a good run. However, on this course I felt like I was wading through treacle to finish. The event was well organised although just as well there wasn't a big number of runners as the finish line was a bit on the small side. Got my first race undery belt. Wouldn't do it again.
