In short: fun day out, pretty flat course, interesting at the end, LOADS of runners
In full: possibly a good course for a PB, little repetitive with the looping back on yourself towards the end, but a great finish into the cathedral and castle though the cobbles are a bit dodgy. chaotic at the start but a great big race for a great city

In short: Well organised except for crowded and delayed start. Good crowds at start and finish. Nice and flat!

In short: Route, Organisation and Crowd fantastic - Suffered on delayed start and cram packed finish (Could do with a fresh tarmac!) But overall I really enjoyed it and will be signing up next year

In short: Great venue, let down with bad organisation at start and finish
In full: Why the change to the start position? Was too congested for the number of runners. Were the organisers influenced by the extra cash and unconcerned by the finer points to make this a more enjoyable road race. The finish was a disaster waiting to happen. Absolutely no organisation or co-ordination whatsoever. There is so much potential to make this one of the best 10k runs on the calander, sadly it fell short.

In full: The organisers must have prayed that there was no emergency at the finish, on health and safety grounds it the congestion was unbelievable

In short: Expensive and poor value. Organisation struggles with numbers of entries
In full:
£14 is steep and made worse by insult of being charged to park on a playing field. (Then they invite you to spend £5 on a shirt).
Strong feeling that the organisers are not runners and have little experience of other races. But at least this year they managed to send me my race number.
