In short: Managed my pb at 6 miles
In full: Good run, expected easy run along canal, more hills than I expected. However achieved my pb at 6 miles 59 minutes. But for me the race is made more memorable because of the people you run it with. So a special thanks to John and James who certainly inspire me. Thanks Guys.

In short: Different from the norm in terms of distance, varied enough and good scenic route that would be equally good in the rain.
In full: I would echo most of the comments about the mile markers being off kilter and the fact that at £15 it was a little steep. Other than that, there was a good atmosphere about the race and it was a good, new route and one I will come back for. I'm not sure how many other races of 8.2 miles there are, thinking about personal bests with which to compare it. Any chance of making it a 10miler, then the time would mean something in terms of other races. Just a thought.
And cheers for Kim and Sam who spotted me walking to the race from Frimley Station and gave me a lift the rest of the way. I hope it was good for you as well.

In short: Very enjoyable, well-organised and a great medal
In full: Any race with Mike Gratton involved is guaranteed to be well-organized, and this was no exception. It is such a joy to be able to run without worrying about where to park, huge queues for the loos, and a long, cold walk to the start. A very enjoyable race, but surprisingly tough. Some miles seemed much longer than others! A gorgeous shiny medal at the end. Perfect!
