In short: Wombles are organized, work as a team
In full: Took too long for me to run one of these, wish I'd participated earlier (I had been here at the 2nd ever run, on the timer).
Went past 2 other parkruns (Bushy and Richmond) to get here, hence my delaying taking part as the others are closer.
What I did find was a lovely scenic route that for two laps takes in some great little woodland.
Like it's Bushy counterpart it has no inclines, but the trail under foot makes it not quite as fast as a road surface.
Fabulously well organised like all parkruns, great feeling of community at the start and very welcoming.
It has everything you need - car parking, toilets and cafe nearby.

In short: Great run, nice people and well organised.
In full: A really gentle 5k run offering a welcome break from the tarmac. A beautiful place to run with a good mix of the fast, the not-so fast, the hopeful and horizontally challenged (myself). Simple, well organised, friendly and extremely enjoyable. A credit to Parkrun.com.
