In short: Hills that are vertical! not for the faint hearted but really good fun!
In full: mud, cold, hills, total madness! was a really interesting way to start the day, nothing could prepare you for how steep the hills were, walking was allowed in many places (and the only option in one) but all in great spirits, very well organised, great marshalls and a drink and banana - times and photos available in record time - recommend it to those that want a challenge!

In short: Not one for the weak hearted or sparrow-legged
In full: A morale-sapping race especially the 1 in 9 ascent of St Martha's Hill. Efficiently run with plenty of marshalls on route and food and drink at the end. Will do again next year but only after leg work at the gym.

In short: Beautiful area to run in
In full: Well organised with nice marshalls, and a very good if painful course. But, my Garmin insisted it was about 6.8 miles which doesn't add up to 10k. Still fun though!
