In short: This was my first stab at the running game after being inactive since leaving school and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a well organised race in a great setting with a good mix of abilities. Great for those starting out like me or those with experience

In short: A hilly 10k, not for PB's, but quiet, very scenic and well organized
In full: This race starts and finishes withing sight of Blenheim Palace, the course snakes its way through the private grounds of Blenheim on closed estate roads. The first 2-3k's are flat as you race across the bridge towards the front door of the palace before heading for more undulating roads. There is a long climb between km's 5 and 6 which is a tester, but its followed by a long down-hill. Still, the various short ascents of the course test your overall fitness. Not a course for setting a PB, but a good one for hill lovers or those wanting to soak up some authentic aristocratic atmosphere in tranquill surroundings.

In short: Glorious surroundings make you forget the painful hills!
In full: A fabulous event, made even better by the route through Blenheim's parklands. A hilly course but with the joy of a lovely downhill section between 6k and 7.5k. Very well organised and great to be kept informed from a loud speaker that could be hear by all! A few more loos would have been nice though! Not a PB for me, a challenging route!

In short: Great setting for a nice challenging run. Be there next year 4 Stars
In full: Only gave run 4 Stars as some later runners missed out on medals, they just ran out. Apart from this the run was excellent value and the setting in Blenheim Palace grounds was just breath taking.
