In short: Done it for 5 years on the bounce and always good value
In full: Flat course through Leybourne Lakes for the most part so far better than a road run. Only a couple of slight hills that hardly even register so definite PB potential. Starting off the main road isn't ideal but you're into the lakes after the first km. Marshalling was good and friendly too.

In full: An interesting mainly flat course but I forgot about the hill at the end (which we'd walked down to the start!)Car park well marshalled but it was a little confusing in the Sports Hall so very clear signage would be useful. This made it a little bit cliquee for non-locals ie Dartford and Larkfield. Slightly bonkers having only two male loos available so long stressful queues formed. Some of the K markers had blown down on the course which made split timings awkward. Drinks stations need to be longer and in open and obvious places. The wind and rain was a delight as were the (homemade?) cakes at the end. The gazebo at the end looked a bit like a Larkfield private event which didn't help with the impression of a clique. I'm winging rally - obviously I have too much time on my hands - it was a good event and I'll be back.

In short: Good event to take part in.
In full: Overall good event. A few minor points though. Water station: didn't realise it was there until I'd gone past - good job it wasn't a scorching day. Marshalls: some of you could have been a bit more encouraging. Tannoy system: wasn't very clear. On the plus side though - nice course - the flatest run i've done in a long time (apart from the finish!). Only my second race, and improved on my first - so very pleased with that. Didn't mind the rain - quite refreshing! Thanks to organisers, marshalls etc, see you next year.

In short:
In full: The water station between 4k and 5k was either on the wrong side of the road or obscurred by cars, as I didn't realise it was there until helpers ran out in the road with cups of water! Also the water station at the finish appeared to be unmanned. It was difficult to open large bottles of water and pour a drink after running in the cold rain. However, I preferred finishing inside the leisure centre grounds again.

In short: Usual problems with queue's for the toilets before the race - and not being able to use all facilities at the centre - wetside etc.

In short: Good run, friendly people, mostly around scenic lake(s)
In full: I'm running 170K for Sands charity this year, this race completed 50K (justgiving\naima29032009).
Good run mostly flat except for bridge and last 1Km (I have to do more hill training!)
Local police (and Marshalls)controlled the traffic.
Atmosphere was good in places (start and finish). Medal is one of the good ones.
Rain kept it cool, except when it poured down but I had finished at that point so managed to take shelter.

In short: Good mostly flat and scenic course, tough last 1k hill climb
In full: This was my first 10k race and enjoyed it, the rain was great to run in but not so good for the spectators, marshalls. Nice scenery around the lakes but that last 1k up the hill to the finish line is a toughy, the homemade cakes made up for it tho. Liked the medal. Will come back next year for sure.
