In short: Nice Buckinghamshire Nice
In full: One minute we're sheltering from the rain under the clock tower - the next we're off (after a very loud silent half minute). Well marshalled, well marked well watered. Not a lot of support, the views were shrouded, no signs for the parking, and no visible clock at the end - but..... overall a nice low key race. Look forward to some sun.

In short: Toguher than avergae scenic race
In full: Agree with most comments. First time ever that my Garmin has registered any race 100% accurate (so does that mean it wasn't!?). Missed the 9K marker, too, and was a tad disoriented coming in at the end. Would have loved a some "500m to go!" sign as I couldn't see the end coming. The course is pretty challenging - the end is fast but it'll depend if you've got anything less in the tank after the first 7K. A good race.

In short: A scenic race with a hilly first half
In full: The number of climbs exceeded my expectations for a "slightly undulating" course and this is not a PB course for newcomers to running, though the second half is easier than the first. It was very well organised. I didn't see the 9KM marker and was looking out for it. Did it exist? Friendly and helpful marshals and a nice mug to finish, I'd do this one again but after a little more hill work!

In short: very enjoyable
In full: What better way to spend my 40th birthday than running this well organised, friendly race.Other 'Bigger' races take note, bang on 10k, according to garmin. Thanx to Jen for sharing with me.

In short: Testing course greatly helped my cold good condiitons rather than usual baking heat!
In full: having done this race in 2006 in the blistering heat was delighted to do it in a bit of rain and coldness!
This explains doing it over 1min 40 quicker than in 06...well that and a big ramping up in mileage!

In short: Scenic undulating route which was clearly marked and plenty of water
In full: Despite the rain, an enjoyable race. Plenty of marshalls, very well organised. The short area over grass was very uneven and not good under foot. Lovely toliets, although not many. Clear km markers and plenty of water stations which were appreciated. Undulating route, plenty of hills! It was nice to get a mug at the end for a change. No chip timing so our time was not accurate. A mix of all abilities, set in a pretty village, we will return next year.

In short: Plenty of signs on route, plenty of marshalls who were a little quiet due to rain!
In full: Well organised race and the AC has put much time into signs en route and into recruiting marshalls. Wld like to see this race continuing, it is attractive. Council needs to tame (cut!) the wild patch of grass off A4010 - it's a tiny part of the course but am currently feeling vulnerable about trips due to knee injury!
