In short: fantastic race - everyone should do it
In full: Despite it snowing on arrival, the clouds parted and the sun came out so that the stunning views could be enjoyed. Friendly marshalls, quiet country lanes, lovely momento and general good cheer. It will be a real loss if this race doesn't continue so tell all your friends and come along next year.

In short: Very tough road race. Well organised, friendly and great scenery.
In full: It is all on road, not MT as Runners' World claims. Very hilly, even some of the downhill hurts.
Friendly 'local' feel to the event. Well marshalled and marked. Small field, but very enjoyable break from my normal circuit in Wiltshire. Many thanks.

In short: Well worth going to this run, great organisation, great momento, and a friendly atmosphere. What more can you ask?!
In full: Despite being one of the only apparent unattached runners there I found everyone I spoke to very friendly, both runners and marshalls.
The organisers did a great job in very cold (and on several occasions snowy!) conditions, however the weather did nothing to dampen spirits.
I've run many races, both big and small, and have to say this was one of the most welcoming, smiles and encouragement all the way round.
The people that have organised this make the smaller races more attractive and worth doing for me - even down to the little marshall who bought me my pasty and momento at the end so I didn't have to walk and get it!
I really like the momento, and it's something different to a medal or t-shirt - a great idea, and a little bit more special.
Thanks to all involved.

In short: In spite of snow flurries, hills and even more hills, this was one of the best road races of the 57 events I 've done this year.
In full: Great organisation, good glass trophy and an 'oggie' at the finish, only meat ones though so no good for me. Splendid scenery shame it clashed with the Taunton Marathon/half as only 40ish runners, very little traffic on country lanes well marshalled or marked. Great location for a race.

In short: Excellent challenge, great landscape and I'm knackered!!
In full: This race was fantastic, if very painful and served to highlight how far I have to go in my running! Special thanks to the ladies towards the end who kept me going, especially the ones with the jelly beans! I hope the race will be organised again next year and if so I'll make sure I train harder! The marhsalls (and mini-marshalls) were really nice and the finishing prize was unique!
