Our first Cani-cross event was a very enjoyable experience. Good direction and help from the organisers, friendly co-participants and dogs. Beautiful location. Great fun to do this with your four-legged friend. Thanks to all involved. Date of review: May 2, 2010
In short: Pretty good event In full: This was our second cani-cross. We travelled 60 miles, and arrived with 20 mins to spare. Our postal instructions said the coach left at 10am, but at 9:45 we were suddenly told we had 5 minutes before the coach left. Consequently, my chip got left in the car as did my running socks. As I have sore feet at the mo, this was a real bummer!
On arriving at the start, we had to quickly change into running gear and put our labeled bags back on the coach. We then had 45 minutes to wait until the start. It was a cold wind! That said, the camaradorie of the group was great. We all moaned about the cold and the wait but in good humour.
But it was a brilliant day, with a great crowd of supportive people, and very welcoming to newbies. The course was lovely and we will definately do again next year, maybe the 1/2 marathan, but will leave 2 hours for travelling instead of 1.5 :-) Date of review: May 4, 2009
In short: Superb event, well organised with terrific atmosphere. In full: Would recommend this event to everyone. Challenging course, beautiful scenery, lots of route markers, plenty of water stations at regular intervals. To finish of with a food and cakes display to die for. What a way to spend a day !
