In short: Brilliant 10k race - faultless and outstanding organisation
In full: I have ran this race a few times now and it is well worth the trip from Manchester. It is just the right size - not overcrowded and there is plenty of space ( especially after half way on the way back along the prom!!) A credit to penny lane striders. Back next year

In short: well organised scenic 10k
In full: First time i've done this race and was very impressed with it, loved the run down the prom, felt like the half marathon in march, only 5 times hotter! Twisted my ankle at the top of the steps though which cost me a bit of time, but enjoyed it all the same! will be back next year

In short: Nice mix of flat prom and a park/wood diversion with slight undulation. Excellent marshalling throughout including painting every tree root.

In short: mixture of fast and flat, with challenging sections
In full: Fisrt time doing this race, loved it, got at PB (although strangely not on what I would call a a PB course!) Beuty I think is in the variety it offeres. Some fast and flat sections, some interesting bumps, trails and turns. Also a mixture of club and non club runners meant atmosphere friendly and relaxed. A race I would certainly recommend for a fisrt timers as well as a regualr runner. Well done Penny Lne Striders, you ut on an event to be proud of!
