In short: Nasty hill after 1 mile but fast finish
In full: Not one for a beginner, very clubby race with a good hill. Marshalls were friendly and good t - shirt at the end

In short: Different kind of course, nasty hill at 1.5 miles
In full: Quite enjoyed the course, bit awkward doing the loops of the go kart track, needed sharp elbows! As a fellow organise in another county I think the prize list could be bigger, and people should be in their own categories, ie M55s should be down as M55, not M50s etc. M70s were listed as M60. Just a small beef which makes it awkward for Athletics Weekly stats etc. Hope to run it again next year.

In short: The marshalls weren't at all enthusiatic or supportive- they generally kept their attention in directing the runners through the back streets of Wombell and minding the unusually high amounts of traffic during a race. The building with the facilities

In short: intresting little race
In full: all in all not a bad race but one thing i did notice was that there were no signs to let motorists know that there might be runners in the road as there was in bolsover but that did not spoil what was a good run with a testing hill coming just when you got into your stride

In short: Quite a challenging course
In full: Enjoyable in difficult conditions to run in. Good race, big hill after you have been around go-kart track(even though it was advertised as FLAT)bit of a boring run, good T-shirt. However kept waiting because of delay.

In short: Good race in chilly conditions!
In full: Well organised event, nice touch to start and finish on the go-kart track. Not the most interesting of courses but well marshalled on what was a very cold morning.

In short: Good race - lap of the go kart track at the end was demoralising though.
In full: Well organised with plenty of parking, could only find one toilet though in the club house! Course was well marshalled on public roads, the uphill for 1 of the first three miles was more than compensated for by the downhill when the course looped back to the start. The lap of the karting track at the end was a killer, especially as you went past the finish to begin the lap.

All in all I enjoyed the event and would come back again next year to blow away the winter cobwebs!
