In short: First class event
In full: I thought 5 laps might get a bit boring but not so. The Alpacas raised a smile on each lap and the watching the waterfowl kept the mind occupied. The circuit looked flat when looking from the start line but the far side held a few hidden surprises. Anyway a PB for me! Thanks to the marshalls for all their encouragement and assistance. Thanks also to the non competing lady who ran 5 laps in the reverse direction for her kind words. Thanks also to the other non racing lady who ran across the dam with me on lap 4.
In fact thanks to everyone, racers and nonracers, for an exceptionally friendly event. See you next year.

In short: Not just 5 laps but 5 enjoyable laps which made it easier than normal lap races.
In full: Now i know how to find Draycote I think there is no doubt I will be back. Organisation was brilliant and every marshall was kind and helpful. Vistors to Draycote also were cheering runners on which was a great help. If you get lucky with the weather this could be a PB course. Do this rasce you will enjoy your day, I promise you won't notice the laps. Well done Kenilworth Runners.
