In short: Great for my First Time
In full: In the next village to me, and I'd been aiming for this race for much of the year.

The long hill was testing, but overall I really enjoyed myself.

I would have liked more water though.

In short: As good as any year it's been held
In full: Always a treat to come to this local event run by a competent running club. Well Done RRR. Also the village atmosphere with a walk and a shorter fun run covers every ability. Beautiful day and will return again next year.

In short: A very friendly race for all abilities.
In full: This is the fourth time I have run this race and a great way to spend a Sunday Morning. Nice course, friendly people and very well organised; a good turn out with a great field of varied abilities. Well rewarded for your efforts with a good quality medal all for £6 as well as benefitting a charitable organisation. I will be back again next year for definite.

In short: Another great & friendly 10k at Mortimer
In full: Another excellent race, great village feel and well organised. Good marshalling, with the added challenge of walkers on the same route, no drama's. Anyone who needs more than one water station on a 10k should carry their own!!

In short: Good value run out
In full: I moved to the village recently, so a small amount of bias, but a good event overall. Encompassed a lot of my usual training route, so I was used to the hill - it's not that bad. Unlike some other participants, I didn't notice any un-marshalled crossings and I thought one drinks station was fine for a 10k. For £6, you can't complain.
