In short: Superb Event
In full: First time at Freckleton and really impressed. Good course (not quite as flat as I had been told) and really good support. My only minor criticism was the trainer bag as a finishing momento which was different but a bit disappointing. A great run and even the sun popped out.

In short: once again, very well organised Half marathon and good weather!
In full: I have done this run for a number of years now, always well organised, flat course so good for PB although last 4 miles back down the main road from Lytham are a bit of a slog.... Weather always sunny but can get a bit breezy!

In short: Great race with fantastic local support
In full: First half for two years and a great experience. Marshals were excellent dealing with some tricky road junctions and local support especially the last bit through the village was really uplifting - definitely gave me a boost for the last mile or so. Good facilities - showers at the end v welcome as it was a hot day. Loved the boot bag memento. Will be very useful. One for the list for next year.

In short: Fantastic race - great atmosphere
In full: This was my first time running the Freckleton race and it definitely lived up to expectations. If only all races were this well organised! Everything was made easy - registration was really well organised, the course was well marked with plentiful water stops, and finish area was first rate.

The atmosphere was great in the villages we passed and I will definitley be doing this race next year. Weather was on the warm side so missed out on a PB but still really enjoyed the race.

In short: My first time doing this one, and i was not dissapointed, great value for money, superb organisation, and the water and sponge stops and showers made this a great race, as it was pretty hot on the day, and a lovely brew at the end!
