In short: Fab way to spend a mid Summer evening
In full: Fantastic race again, well organised and very family friendly. Thankfully the weather was good. However, with the recent heavy rain made the course very slippy. A great race, see you in 2013 for my 4th Bolt!

In short: great first time experience of the bolt, but wont be last
In full: First time doing this course but really enjoyed the run, challenging in places with some positively swamp like trails in the forest, but maybe been near the back people in front of me made this worse, but great course with superb views and great organisation, will most definitely be back again next year!!

In short: Another great race this year
In full: Another great race this year despite the weather (which was thankfully not as bad as forecasted).
A challenging course in lovely scenery, BBQ, kids activities and bar all add up to a great family atmosphere and one of my favourite races of the year.

In short: Tough and enjoyable with excellent support
In full: This is a lovely race through beautiful countryside with plenty of tough and challenging sections to get your heart pumping! The support from the marshalls was excellent and the atmosphere was super with lots of drinks/food at the end. I would definitely do this again. Thanks :)

In short: A local run not just for local people.
In full: Superb well organized community run with something for all the family. Good to see a good mix of top club runners & first time runners. Not a fast course but very scenic with the lure off a bar & bbq at the finish :-)

In short: Very enjoyable race, great atmosphere, well done to all.
In full: My first time at the Blakedown Bolt, will definitley not be my last.
A well organised race, along a challenging route, through some lovely countryside.
Loved the quirky and unique memento in the shape of a bolt.
The beer tent and bbq also went down very well too.
Well done to all involved.
