In short: Definite PD potential - well run race - nice start time as well (i.e. get race over with early)

In short: Great race, despite the rain.
In full: I have to thank the marshalls for this one. Standing out in the pouring rain for a few hours can't have been pleasant, but it made such a difference to runners! Really enjoyable course, and it was great to see some of the early finishers hang around in the park and cheer for runners as they came in. The ladies changing was a bit cramped, but otherwise fantastic organisation.

In short: Fast course and great organisation
In full: As many others here, I did my PB. Flat, well marshalled and organised by people who know what they are doing: don't miss this one!
Two very minor points:
1) I'd add sugar drinks at a couple of water stations.
2) I'd add marks from the finish line back to the start (I nearly got lost at the exit of the park when I turned right instead of left).

In short: great organisation and pleasant scenery for a london based race
In full: everything about this race shows that it's run by a proper running club who know what they are doing. As mentioned elsewhere, the marshalls are great, the course offers definite PB potential and you get to run alongside the Thames.

In short: Great organisation, friendly marshalls, brilliant setting
In full: Knocked 9 minutes off previous PB - has to be good! Flat course, great scenery along the river. Good idea to issue baggage labels in the 'loo queue' to save time. A well organised race, with a medal to add to the collection. Banana and chocolate at the end were very welcome! Thank you Ranelagh.

In short: Well done Ranelagh
In full: If you want an introduction to local half marathon running or just a fun morning in one the nicest parts of London you could do a lot worse than this.

Some lovely scenery, great marshalls, organisation and freebies. The rain made the walk back to the clubhouse a little harder then it should of been but you really cannot complain about this race.

Well done Ranelagh Harriers - excellent.

P.S If you are looking for a PB this is the course!

In short: Fantastic 1st Half Marathon
In full: Good pre-race information, great on-the-day organisation. Marshalls were extremely friendly and helpful (could have done with a couple more between 9-11 miles for those of us finishing after 2 hours though). My first half-marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was so encouraging. Will definitely be back again. Thanks to all those who stood in the rain to help out, it made SUCH a difference.
