In short: What a Hill
In full: Great race really enjoyed this one/ My only gripe was that the entry fee was £10 on the day even though i am a club runner. I thought this was expensive considering the standard of the tshirt and goody bag. Loved the mixture of hills but more importantly the downhills! I will definitely do it next year providing the prices do not go up further.

In short: A well organised testing race
In full: For thoes who like running in "gently undulating" races be prepared for a big suprise. I had heard about the hill in this race but was no where near ready for it especially second time around, it certainly makes you dig deep for that last bit of will power. Nevertheless this is a very organised race with friendly helpful marshals, well manned water stations and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back and have another go at that hill no matter how much it hurt!.
Only gripe was that the mens loo ran out of toilet paper 35 mins before the start and no more was forthcoming even though requested!!!.

In short: Good race, awful hill!
In full: 'The hill' was actually worse than I remembered from last year!! I struggled the first time, let alone the second and was absolutely horrified that several people I beat at Cheadle last week breezed past me first time around!

Apart from that its a good tough race and the weather was ok. Godd atmosphere and turnout. Pleased to manage sub 70 minute time (just!!) - 69.57.

In short: Cracking race, a good tester!
In full: I'd heard about the hill and was a bit nervous, I jogged up to the start of it during my warm up and thought "it's not that bad"....but then I never went up it and round the switchbacks, that's where it gets tough. Weather was spot on , the organisers did well to sort that out...plus just about every other aspect of the race was well done as well. Definatley recommend it for a good challenge. I ran my socks off and thoroughly enjoyed it,

In short: Great race - sign me up for next year!
In full: Great scenery, brilliant organisation, nice t-shirt and bag. Marshalls were really encouraging. 'The hill' was tough the second time round but the flats/downhills make up for it.
