In short: A bit of everything In full: Always an enjoyable race over an unusual distance. More testing than your normal half but planty of downhills as well as the ups. Always well organised and congratulations to Holmfirth Harriers in their centenary year. Date of review: October 31, 2007
In short: Nice course, if you like long hills. In full: Got a PB so can't complain. Very well organised, marshalls all very positive. Tough two lap course with 2nd half of each course mostly uphill and long hills at that. Would definately do this again. Well doen Holmfirth Harriers. Date of review: October 31, 2007
In short: Brillaint race, will be back again next year In full: Brilliant race, lovely course, extremely well organised, superbly marshalled all of whom were very envouraging, although it is an undulating course I still ran a pb and even the rain stopped as we walked to the start line. Well worth a weekend break in a lovely town/village. Thank you Holmfirth AC Date of review: October 30, 2007
In short: Up and Down, and then up right at the end, In full: Was a challenging course alright, but there are plenty of downs to go with the ups. The last little steep bit at the end nearly did for me, as did my wife not turning up with my jelly beans cos she was enjoying the shops too much ;-). Overall excellent course, my first 15miler race, so wasn't sure what to expect. Marshalls excellent as were the police, mile markers and drink stops. Thanks for all those whoe organised Date of review: October 29, 2007

In short: Well organised over an interesting distance In full: It's a good few years since I last did this undulating friendly course. As usual superbly well organised. Well done HH in your centenary year. Date of review: October 29, 2007
In short: Really enjoyable race, friendly field, well marshalled over an undulating and interesting distance. In full: If you want a change from the usual race distances then this is a good choice. Not as hilly as you might expect in this part of the world and the inclines are balanced out with down hill stretches. A good race to aim for before the long, dark nights.
Congratulations to Holmfirth Harriers on their centenary, keep up the good work. Date of review: October 29, 2007
