In short: Once again a well organised event and a run amongst fantastic scenery with a couple of testing gradients. This is a 1st class race and long may it continue!

In full: Enjoyable very well organised race, with the panoramic views of the welsh borders surrounding the challenging hilly well marshalled course. The event is hosted by hay hotfooters running club and is a credit to them from the jovial pre run information to the excellent array of home made cakes (approx 20 in total) which greet you at the refreshment tent. A tee shirt and much needed bottle of water at the finish line with various prizes for competitors given at the closing ceremony all in all a first class race.

In short: Well organised. Not a course for PBs. Playful hills but nothing too severe. Very welcoming marshalls, esp person who started the race. Aill be back.

In full: Spotted this run this last night on RW and glad I did although after a sat nav disaster I managed to get to the start on top of the hill with 3 mins to spare. A tidy and challenging gradient ridden run amongst some great scenery. A finish area in a field in a tent but t-shirt, bottled water, bananas, mars bars, tea/coffee and homemade cakes for finishers - 1st class race.

In short: Tough challenging course very warm but great fun!
In full: Hay Hotfooters have done themselves proud. It is the first time I have run this one without it blowing a gale or lashing down with rain. Oh how I missed the wet stuff, it was very warm and I forgot about those pesky hills! Great marshalls, atmosphere, t-shirt and chocolate cake at the end, all for a tenner.

In short: A superbly organised race that Hay Hotfooters should be justifiably proud of!
In full: Opted to run this 10k at short notice (having scouted through the race diary in Runner's World) and am really glad I made the drive from Bristol. Thankfully the great Welsh weather was on our side which made for an even better race (albeit a tad on the warm side).
The atmosphere was fantastic; everyone seemed to be smiling - although the smiles on the runners faces at the end were probably grimaces - this was one tough race, but without being impossible. The route was challenging but the organisers avoided the cliche of making competitors run through bogs or over walls and there were no flaming bales of hay to tackle! Thankfully a multi-terrain race that was exactly that - a pure off-road running race set amist spectacular scenery.
And the cakes at the end...to die for! Thanks Hay Hotfooters for the best alround 10k I've run. Hat off to you guys!

In short: Superb organisation, scenary, value for money, friendliness. What more can I sayy
In full: A bapytism of fire for me as it was my first off-roader, but a truly excellent event and location. A magical day out, but I could have done with the legs of Zebedee to get me over those hills. I'm sure I saw Dylan incidentally :-)

In full: What a contract from last year, when all I wanted to do at the end was crawl into a hole and die like a drowned rat! This year I wondered what they had done to hide the wind - truly magical! Great organization and
superb cakes.
