In short: brilliant race
In full: Ran this in 2011, excellent event well attended (and hotly contested) by local club runners. Undulating country lane, run out and back. Arrive in good time as you need to walk a mile from Bridgend Leisure Centre to race start point. Welcome pint in club house afterwards, great atmosphere.

In short: really good race. nice warm up jog too!
In full: The leisure centre is terrible to find! No sign to say turn left after the left turn at the traffic lights in the town centre, had to drive on to Laleston (?) to turn around go back a mile or so then see the sign to turn left tucked into a hedge, so my advice go early...great freindly race though, well worth doing. nice little warm up mile before and a warm down mile after, did me good!

In short: A little gem!!!
In full: More of a race than a fun-run, so was a bit intimidated at the start-line, but there was no need to be! Atmosphere was friendly, and there were plenty of fun-runners like me! A 5k is too quick to take in the amazing beauty of this route - pity, but nice and flat, excellent for a good PB attempt!

In short: Fast 5k on a scenic country road near the Big Dipper on the Merthyr Mawr Estate
In full: Well marked, k's, 1 mile and 400/200 to go markers. Water at end, scenic quick route. A superb 5k. Turn half way a bit tight (round tree) cost me a second or so. Showers, presentation and warm friendly welcome.

In short: Allows you to race merthyr mawr without having to climb the big dipper!
In full: well organised out and back race. not pancake flat, but evens out overall. small enough to get into your stride early on, and a beer to finish!
