In short: hard going uphill in the tunnel, then the little uphill after it takes you by suprise. Nice run in.

In short: Good race , well done Liverpool
In full: Hard work getting up that tunnel incline but very enjoyable . Finishing along New Brighton waterfront was good .

In short: I fund the tunnel very tough but I felt like I really achieved something by getting through it
In full: This race was a bargain - absolutely great value for money and it was great to see Ricky Tomlinson. For the price I don't think I can complain about anything except more support would be great. It's also a bit of a killer seeing the finishing line for so long before the end (it never seemed to get any closer!)

In short: Good atmosphere, no complaints great T shirt and medal.
In full: A great race, what a way to spend a Sunday morning, felt exceptionally warm running in the tunnel though. Really glad I took part in this event. For the past 11 years every day I've travelled to the Wirral through the tunnel and have had to pay £2.60 for the privilege. Plenty of water and Ricky Tomlinson had the time it seems to congratulate all.

In short: Great run !
In full: First time running this race and thought it was great! Tunnel was weird but fun. View of Liverpool from across the water was fleeting, but amazing - city looking great with all the new development. Lack of crowds, but great support from fellow runners. Two water stations very welcomed. Excellent price for chip, t shirt great and medal!

In short: Excellent race - especially the tunnel and then the riverfront
In full: Well organised, bit lacking in support from the (non-existant) crowd.

Running in the tunnel was wierd (and it's a long way back up).

In short: First time for me on the Tunnel run, better this year I believe due to the tunnel being closed, excellent organisation and the course is good for PB

In short: Excellent organisation and an interesting route
In full: Well done to the organisers, everything ran very smoothly. The train back to Liverpool was an excellent idea. I quite enjoyed the City v City stuff - it didn't make me any faster, but it was good to be part of something across the country.

In short: Enjoyable and different
In full: An enjoyable race with some very different 'scenery', love running through the tunnel then along the seafront. Good smooth organisation. Not sure about the whole City v City idea, seeing as how the three races were different sizes and not necessarily comparable courses, but made no difference to a good race. Cherry Powerade is the most disgusting post-race drink in the known Universe - lovely!

In short: A PB is possible, but its great just to get through the tunnel for free for a change ;)
